Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

Embark on an awe-inspiring adventure to the summit of Mt. San Jacinto via the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway—home to the planet's grandest state-of-the-art rotating tramcars. These magnificent carriages accommodate up to 80 passengers and leisurely revolve, treating you to a mesmerizing 360-degree panorama of the picturesque valley and its surroundings below. As you ascend the 2.5-mile journey across varying altitudes, you'll traverse varying landscapes akin to a voyage spanning from Mexico to Canada. After arriving at the mountaintop station, indulge in an included cafeteria-style lunch at Pines Café, all while gazing upon breathtaking vistas of Palm Springs and the sprawling Coachella Valley. Later, we’ll take you to downtown Palm Springs where you can savor time strolling the quaint boutiques and sidewalk cafés on your own. Note: The highest elevation on this tour is 8,500 feet.

Know Before You Go

1) We recommend that you wear comfortable, sturdy walking shoes.

2) Please wear layered clothing and bring a warm sweater or jacket. The temperature can be up to 40 degrees colder at the top of the tram ride.

3) This tour visits a high-elevation region of up to 8500 feet.

14-Day Cancellation Deadline

• If you purchased the optional Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP) prior to the deadline, you can cancel your booking at any time for any reason and you'll receive a full refund of the tour fare.

• If you declined the CPP, you may cancel your reservation fourteen (14) or more days prior to the departure date to receive a refund less a $15 per person cancellation fee. Alternatively, when you cancel your booking fourteen (14) or more days prior to the departure date, you can avoid the cancellation fee by transferring the funds to another tour or a non-refundable voucher, which can be applied to any future excursion booked within one year of the original tour date. Bookings canceled within 14 days of the departure date are nonrefundable and nontransferable for any reason. Name changes on daytrips are always permitted at no additional cost.
