Customers with an active DayTripper membership can enroll in this program and earn DayTripper Dollars on all travel with us as articulated below. Creating an account and enrolling in the program online is free and simple. Alternatively, customers may call the Reservations Department during business hours to set up an account and/or enroll in the DayTripper Dollar Rewards Program.
With a valid membership and active enrollment, you will earn one (1) DayTripper Dollar for every full increment of $20 (USD) spent on a single purchase toward:
DayTripper-operated day trips and multi-day vacations
DayTripper merchandise
Gift cards
DayTripper Dollars are added to your account after the tour on which you earned the reward points has departed.
Travel not operated by DayTripper Tours, such as by Mayflower Cruises and Tours or other travel partners
Portions of any tour, gift card, or merchandise paid with DayTripper Dollars
Add-on costs for specialty items incurred by the traveler
Change fees and fees imposed by third-party vendors
Cancellation penalties
Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP) fees
Travel insurance premiums
Portions of a purchase that dont equal a full $20 increment (e.g., $120 earns 6 points, whereas $119 earns 5 points)
Tour bookings that were canceled and payments that were refunded to you
Redeem your accumulated DayTripper Dollars at any time by applying some or all of them toward payment on future travel or DayTripper merchandise according to the stated terms. Your balance will show on your account, and you can redeem all or some of your DayTripper Dollars when booking online or over the phone.
One DayTripper Dollar is equivalent to $1 USD when applied toward travel and DayTripper merchandise as described in this section.
Payment for any DayTripper-operated day trip or multi-day vacation
DayTripper Tours-branded merchandise
Tours not operated by DayTripper Tours, such as by Mayflower Cruises and Tours
The initial deposit for multi-day excursions
Add-on costs for specialty items incurred by the traveler
Hotel incidentals
Change fees and fees imposed by third-party vendors

Cancellation penalties

No, you cannot transfer your accumulated DayTripper Dollars to another members account. However, you can use DayTripper Dollars to pay for another person when booked from your account.
Your DayTripper Dollars expire if your account is inactive for 24 consecutive months. If there has been no travel or completed purchase activity from your account in a 24-month period, any unused DayTripper Dollars will expire and are forfeited.
If you cancel a reservation that was paid in full or in part with DayTripper Dollars, those DayTripper Dollars will be returned to your account in accordance with the cancellation terms and conditions.
No. DayTripper Dollars have no monetary value and cannot be sold, bartered, refunded, exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash. They are solely provided as a membership incentive to be redeemed in accordance with the terms laid out here.
This program will continue until terminated, suspended, modified, or converted to another rewards program at the sole discretion of DayTripper Tours.
