Motor with us to the highly anticipated opening of the Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center at the California Science Center, where Space Shuttle Endeavour towers approximately 20 stories high with its enormous external fuel tank and twin solid rocket boosters. It’s the world’s only complete, authentic space shuttle system displayed upright in launch position, offering an extraordinary sense of the scale and ambition behind America’s groundbreaking journeys into space.

From its unforgettable crawl through Los Angeles streets after arriving at LAX in 2012 to its dramatic ascent into its permanent home, Endeavour’s final journey was a marvel of ingenuity. Now, 14 years after its arrival, its dedicated museum wing is finally opening! Raising and assembling the massive components required six months of painstaking engineering and precision crane lifts, a feat never before accomplished outside a NASA facility. The building was then completed around this national treasure!

Explore the spectacular new wing’s multilevel galleries, where nearly two dozen aircraft showcase the remarkable evolution of flight—from historic fighter jets and aerobatic planes to a futuristic flying air taxi! Step aboard a genuine Boeing 747 for a simulated flight to Seoul, and discover fascinating spacecraft, rockets, and hands-on exhibits celebrating humanity’s quest to explore the skies and beyond.

How to Make a Reservation

Know Before You Go

• Lunch will be on your own at the Science Center's food court. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring your own meals and use the tables and chairs inside the food court, or outside overlooking Exposition Rose Garden.

• An exhibition audio tour is available for purchase onsite. Guests must have a working mobile device to download audio tour and listen to it once inside exhibit.

Smartphones

Although not necessary to fully enjoy your trip, a personal smartphone can greatly enhance your tour experience. Take high-quality photos, share your experience on social media in real time, search for nearby restaurants and topics of interest, set reminders, and more.

14-Day Cancellation Deadline

• If you purchased the optional Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP) prior to the deadline, you can cancel your booking for any reason up until 1 hour prior to tour departure and you'll receive a full refund of the tour fare, less the cost of the CPP.

• If you declined the CPP, you may cancel your reservation fourteen (14) or more days prior to the departure date to receive a refund less a $15 per person cancellation fee. Alternatively, when you cancel your booking fourteen (14) or more days prior to the departure date, you can avoid the cancellation fee by transferring the funds to another tour or a non-refundable voucher, which can be applied to any future excursion booked within one year of the original tour date. Bookings canceled within 14 days of the departure date are nonrefundable and nontransferable for any reason. Name changes on daytrips are permitted at no additional cost if they do not require pre-clearance, such as with tours visiting government facilities.
