Here, you’ll have time to explore at your own pace, savoring a delicious lunch on your own from an array of international cuisines or indulging in gourmet treats. If you’re in the mood for shopping or more dining options, the nearby Grove offers a lively mix of fashion and dining.

After lunch, we’ll make our way to the stunning Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, a secluded treasure nestled on a hill with sweeping views of the city. Normally closed to the public, this magnificent Tudor-style estate opens its gates for a rare glimpse into its storied past. Docents from the Friends of Greystone will guide you through the mansion’s beautiful grounds, sharing the fascinating history behind its grand gardens, stately fountains, and striking exterior architecture. Since the theatrical production takes place inside the mansion, the guided tour will focus on the exterior grounds. However, you may have the opportunity to glimpse some of the rooms on the first floor, depending on access permitted that day, as the afternoon crescendos with a unique theatrical experience inside the mansion’s elegant living room.

You’ll be treated to Theatre 40's production of Jane Austen in 89 Minutes, a lively and comic whirlwind through all six of Jane Austen’s beloved novels. This clever production, written and directed by Syrie James, blends Regency-era charm with a contemporary twist, offering a delightful mix of Austen’s timeless wit and modern-day humor. As the story unfolds, Jane Austen herself makes appearances to rein in her mischievous characters, adding to the hilarity.

Moderate walking and standing is required during the walking tour of the mansion's grounds. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the historic nature of the estate, this property is not ADA compliant. There are areas during the performance that cannot be reached without ascending/descending stairs, and the exterior grounds has cobbled stone or uneven surfaces that may not be suitable for those using mobility aids.

• The Greystone Mansion requires traversing stairs and uneven surfaces.

• No photos or videos at all allowed inside the building.

• Please wear layered clothing and bring a sweater or jacket since the Greystone Mansion is not equipped with AC or heat.

14-Day Cancellation Deadline

• If you purchased the optional Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP) prior to the deadline, you can cancel your booking at any time for any reason and you'll receive a full refund of the tour fare.

• If you declined the CPP, you may cancel your reservation fourteen (14) or more days prior to the departure date to receive a refund less a $15 per person cancellation fee. Alternatively, when you cancel your booking fourteen (14) or more days prior to the departure date, you can avoid the cancellation fee by transferring the funds to another tour or a non-refundable voucher, which can be applied to any future excursion booked within one year of the original tour date. Bookings canceled within 14 days of the departure date are nonrefundable and nontransferable for any reason. Name changes on daytrips are always permitted at no additional cost.
