Day 1
San Diego to Ventura Harbor Village & Solvang
Depart early from San Diego, settling in comfortably aboard our luxury motorcoach as we make our way north, arriving at the picturesque Ventura Harbor Village, where you'll have free time to explore, stroll along the charming waterfront, and delightful mix of shops, galleries, and eateries. Whether you're in the mood for fresh seafood, artisanal coffee, or a light snack, the choice is yours. Soak in the harbor views and maybe even spot some sea lions basking in the sun! We continue our journey to the heart of California's Central Coast-Solvang, the Danish-inspired village known for its festive holiday spirit and charming atmosphere. You'll check in for a two-night stay at the beautifully appointed Hotel Corque, located in the very heart of the village. This evening, join your Tour Manager for a delicious welcome dinner, the perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow travelers and toast to the start of a magical weekend.

Explore Solvang & Optional Excursion to Los Olivos
Start your day with a delightful breakfast included at the hotel. After breakfast, embark on a charming Solvang Trolley Tour. Sit back and relax as our friendly local guide introduces you to Solvang's unique Danish heritage, pointing out iconic landmarks such as the Little Mermaid Fountain, the Solvang Windmill, and historic churches, all beautifully adorned with festive holiday decorations. Along the way, you'll have the chance to learn about the village's Danish roots and culture in a truly memorable way. Next, we'll visit the Elverhøj Museum of History & Art, one of the few museums outside Denmark dedicated to the Danish-American experience. Explore exhibits that delve into Solvang's rich history, as well as rotating art displays that feature both local and Danish artists. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Explore Solvang's charming boutiques, where you'll find everything from handcrafted gifts to unique holiday decorations. Don't miss the famous Solvang Bakery for their delightful gingerbread houses, or the Hans Christian Andersen Museum for a touch of literary history. As the day winds down, join your Tour Manager for an optional free excursion to the nearby town of Los Olivos. Christmas Around the World & Return to San Diego
After a final breakfast at the hotel, we bid farewell to Solvang and journey south to Simi Valley to explore Christmas Around the World, a special holiday exhibition at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. Christmas Around the World is a festive showcase of over 25 Christmas trees, each uniquely decorated to represent different countries and their holiday traditions. The trees are adorned with culturally significant ornaments, garlands, and lights, providing a vibrant visual experience that highlights the diverse ways Christmas is celebrated globally. Alongside the trees, the exhibition features displays of traditional holiday attire, festive table settings, and multimedia presentations, offering visitors an educational journey through global Christmas customs. This immersive exhibit captures the universal joy of the holiday season and is a must-see during the Christmas season. Then, take your time to visit the permanent exhibits, which offer an insightful look into Ronald Reagan's life, both as an actor and as the 40th President of the United States. Regardless of your political views, the library provides a fascinating peek into the history and challenges of the presidency. Walk through Air Force One, see a full-size replica of the Oval Office, view a massive section of the infamous Berlin Wall, and much more. This afternoon, we begin our journey back to San Diego, reflecting on a memorable experience filled with history, charm, and the spirit of the season.

Passenger name changes, deviations, or other changes made by the passenger after the final payment deadline has passed will be assessed a $50 per person change fee plus any fees incurred by the service providers.
