Step into the spotlight for a truly special day in Los Angeles as we attend a live taping of the auditions for America’s Got Talent, one of television’s most beloved entertainment programs. We’ll begin with lunch on your own in beautiful Old Pasadena, a favored destination known for its classic architecture, walkable streets, and excellent variety of restaurants. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy a leisurely meal, visit a few shops, and ease into the day’s excitement.

 

After lunch, we’ll head to the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, where you’ll experience the thrill of being part of a real television production. From the anticipation in the audience to the energy on stage, it’s an engaging and memorable look at how live TV magic is made. This is a perfect occasion to dress nicely; studio audiences are often on camera, and who knows—you just might find yourself on TV!

 

This delightful outing combines great food, star power, and the excitement of live entertainment, making it a wonderful chance to feel part of something truly special.

Activity Level: High

Due to the recording setting, this tour may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or those using walkers. Navigation requires keeping up with recording staff, possibly at a rapid pace, including some narrow walkways with limited lighting. There may be stairs required to access seating and there are limited opportunities to use the restroom throughout the tapings. There is also no place to store mobility aids.

Know Before You Book: America’s Got Talent Live Audition Taping

This is a very special day and a unique experience. An America’s Got Talent live audition taping is energetic, fast-paced, and very different from other television tapings. It requires your attention, energy, and enthusiasm, and we want to make sure it’s a great fit for you before you book.

Dress Code (Required)

Because the audience may be filmed, a dress code is in place:

• Closed-toe shoes are required (tennis shoes are acceptable)

• Sandals, flip-flops, sliders, and Crocs are not permitted.

• Please avoid sweatpants, matching outfits, hats, sports jerseys, white clothing, and clothing with large logos or busy patterns.

• Collared shirts are encouraged.

If you’re unsure what to wear, watching an episode from a recent season will provide helpful guidance.

Bags & Food

• Backpacks are not permitted; small purses are allowed.

• Food is not permitted inside the auditorium.

• We recommend eating before arrival (a small snack while waiting in line is fine).

Identification

• A valid photo ID (driver’s license or passport) is required.

What to Expect

• This is a live taping of auditions; performers are not yet selected finalists.

• Acts may vary widely and may include mature or unexpected content.

• Bright lights and loud sounds are part of the production.

Audience Participation

Audience participation is an important part of the show. Guests will be asked to stand, sit, applaud, cheer, and follow direction throughout the taping. This may involve repeated movement and sustained energy.

If you are seeking a quiet, observational experience, this event may not be the best fit. If you enjoy being actively involved, it can be a truly fun and memorable day.

14-Day Cancellation Deadline

• If you purchased the optional Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP) prior to the deadline, you can cancel your booking for any reason up until 1 hour prior to tour departure and you'll receive a full refund of the tour fare, less the cost of the CPP.

• If you declined the CPP, you may cancel your reservation fourteen (14) or more days prior to the departure date to receive a refund less a $15 per person cancellation fee. Alternatively, when you cancel your booking fourteen (14) or more days prior to the departure date, you can avoid the cancellation fee by transferring the funds to another tour or a non-refundable voucher, which can be applied to any future excursion booked within one year of the original tour date. Bookings canceled within 14 days of the departure date are nonrefundable and nontransferable for any reason. Name changes on daytrips are permitted at no additional cost if they do not require pre-clearance, such as with tours visiting government facilities.
