Indulge in a flavorful afternoon at The Original Lobster Festival, Southern California’s largest lobster celebration, now in its 29th year. This festive event held in Fountain Valley serves up fresh, live Maine lobsters steamed to perfection in the world’s largest cookers, which can handle up to a thousand pounds of lobster at a time—so there’s plenty to go around!

Explore a wide variety of à la carte delights such as lobster rolls, lobster mac and cheese, lobster fries, lobster bisque, and even lobster surf ’n’ turf. Or, for an additional $30, you can pre-purchase a discounted Signature Lobster Feast Plate ($35 onsite), which includes a 1.25 lb. steamed lobster, coleslaw, dinner roll, watermelon, fresh-cut lemons, and butter dipping sauce. For added ease, festival staff will even crack the lobster for you.

While you dine, enjoy live entertainment including a thrilling Michael Jackson tribute by RemJ, a high-energy Duran Duran tribute by Rio, and a magic show by Arty Loon. The day also features lively dancing, artisan booths, and a free souvenir e-photo to capture the memories.

Sip on wine, beer, or one of the festival’s specialty drinks, including the infamous signature cocktail—the “Screaming Lobster.” You can also sample award-winning tequila and whiskey at the El Baston del Rey tasting experience.

How to Make a Reservation

14-Day Cancellation Deadline

• If you purchased the optional Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP) prior to the deadline, you can cancel your booking at any time for any reason and you'll receive a full refund of the tour fare.

• If you declined the CPP, you may cancel your reservation fourteen (14) or more days prior to the departure date to receive a refund less a $15 per person cancellation fee. Alternatively, when you cancel your booking fourteen (14) or more days prior to the departure date, you can avoid the cancellation fee by transferring the funds to another tour or a non-refundable voucher, which can be applied to any future excursion booked within one year of the original tour date. Bookings canceled within 14 days of the departure date are nonrefundable and nontransferable for any reason. Name changes on daytrips are always permitted at no additional cost.
